Good Neighbours groups take people to and from hospital, GP and other health appointments, offer befriending, do shopping, run lunch clubs and a variety of other tasks.

There are 124 locally-based Good Neighbours groups in Hampshire (excluding Southampton) and nearly all are entirely run by volunteers. They are independent groups ? so they decide which tasks they will do. They have a variety of names ? some are called Neighbourcare, some Voluntary Care groups ? but they are all part of the Good Neighbours Network, supported by the Good Neighbours Support Service.

The groups are listed below in alphabetical order, so you can either scroll through the list or search by the name of the group or by the place it provides services ? eg if you are looking for a group serving Butlocks Heath, put Butlocks Heath into the search engine and it will take you to Beacon Good Neighbours.

It is always worth asking a Good Neighbours group if they can help you ? and you can help them by giving as much notice as you can. They also welcome enquiries about becoming a volunteer.
