The Good Neighbours Network Event 2017 was held on Thursday 20th April at Kings Community Church, a good time was had by all.

Our focus for 2017 led on from our 2016 campaign People Helping People, this year with a heightened awareness around loneliness, mental health issues and the importance of belonging.

The day featured an engaging keynote address from The Academy of Medical Royal Colleges Chair, Professor Dame Sue Bailey, which was informative and exactly on message for the GN Network 2017 theme. There was an amusing and really engaging ten minutes from Max Prangnell (Direction of Communications for the AoMRC) as he shared 5 top tips on marketing. Followed by a slap up lunch and practical workshops.

We had a film set for those of you happy to star in the GNN movie, along with bags of goodies, some updated resources and the day ended with all 120 good neighbours in your I"M A GOOD NEIGHBOUR T"SHIRTS smiling!

A thank you to all who came, and all of you who helped deliver the workshops and speeches, our hosts at the Church and The Hambledon Vineyard for their support with the 'posh ' raffle.
