Events Resource cafes Resource Cafés Resource cafés How they work: Our Good Neighbours groups are supported and encouraged by each other to offer training, advice and events - which are all available from the Hub. One of our main methods of effective network support is through our successful local Resource Cafés. Their secret ingredients? Well, professional advice, sharing of ideas, challenges and solutions. Topics include recruiting and retaining volunteers, reaching volunteers through social media and connecting isolated folk through a befriending scheme. The Local Resource Cafés are great for general advice and support, meeting other local groups and collecting any GNN publications. No question is ever too small or too daft. Any member of a group or someone interested in volunteering for a GNN group is welcome to come and join us. There is always quality coffee, delicious cakes and accessible access. The Resource Cafés are on a drop-in basis and all Good Neighbours are welcome. If you need a specific appointment (especially for private matters) either before or after the Resource Café please contact us on [email protected] All venues have free WiFi Dates: Date Venue Wednesday 5 February 10.30am-12.30pm The Square Kitchen, Portsmouth Guildhall, Guildhall Square, Portsmouth PO1 2AB Thursday 6 February10am-12noon The Departure Lounge Café, Basingstoke Road, Alton, GU34 4BH Monday 10 February10am-12noon Rosie Lea at Setley Ridge Vineyard, Lymington Road, Brockenhurst SO42 7UF Wednesday 12 February10am-12noon Garsons Garden Centre, Fontley Road, Titchfield, PO15 6QX (Terrace Restaurant) Friday 14 February10am-12noon Army Flying Museum, Middle Wallop, Stockbridge, Hampshire, SO20 8DY (Café) Wednesday 26 February10am-12noon Conkers Garden Centre, London Road, Basingstoke, RG24 7JL (Riverbank Tea Room) Thursday 27 February10am-12noon Squire’s Garden Centre, Badshot Lea Road, Farnham, GU9 9JX (Café) Monday 2 March10am-12noon The Potters Heron, Ampfield, Romsey, SO51 9ZF (Go to reception and they will direct you) Wednesday 4 March10am-12noon Brambridge Park (Blue Diamond) Kiln Lane, Brambridge, SO50 6HT (Café) Monday 9 March10am-12noon Haskins Garden Centre, Mansbridge Road, Gaters Hill, West End, SO18 3HW (Café) Wednesday 11 March10am-12noon Rake Garden Centre (Blue Diamond), London Road, Rake, GU33 7JH (Café) Wednesday 18 March10am-12noon Dobbies Garden Centre, Barton's Road, Havant, PO9 5NA (Café) For more information please do contact our administrator Nicky Dodd.
